Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our website, our web servers temporarily store the connection data of the accessing computer as standard for system security purposes, as well as the web pages which you visit on our site, the date and duration of your visit, identification data for the type of browser and operating system used and the website from which you are visiting us. Contract data processing

We have entered into a contract with Google for contract data processing, and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data privacy authorities in the use of Google Analytics.

Facebook Social Plugins

On the basis of our justifiable interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR), we use the social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins may represent interactive elements or content (eg. videos, graphics or text contributions) and can be identified by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the concepts “Like” or the “thumbs up” sign) or are identified with the phrase “Facebook Social Plugin”. If a user calls up a function of this online offer which contains such a plugin, his device creates a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to the user’s device and is integrated by the latter into the online offer. It is possible for user profiles to be created from the data processed. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data which Facebook collects using this plugin and therefore inform users according to the best of our knowledge.
By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the online offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. If users interact with the plugin, for example by activating the Like button or submitting a comment, the corresponding information will be sent from their device directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, the possibility still exists that Facebook may find out his IP address and store it. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany.
